Overview


Extra 360, previously known as Forefront Talent, is an innovative background organization streamlining the path for productions and aspiring background actors in the film industry.

Problem 01 - The Internal Process

Extra360 was facing a real challenge with their talent database. Every time the team needed to book actors for a production, they had to scroll through hundreds of photos to find the right fit. It was a tedious, time-consuming process that was slowing them down and creating a lot of frustration. On top of that, there was no single place to manage all their communications and production data, making everything feel disorganized and chaotic.

I could see how much this was holding them back, so I proposed a solution that would pull everything together in one place. I suggested creating a centralized database that would allow them to quickly search and find talent without the hassle of scrolling through endless images. Beyond that, I wanted to help them manage all their communications and production data from a single platform, giving them easy access to everything they needed. My goal was to make their workflow more efficient, freeing them up to focus on what they do best.

Problem 02 - The Website

After designing the interal interface, Extra360 reached out because their website was facing similar issues. The site was confusing, generating too many user inquiries and ssers found the onboarding process frustrating, often abandoning the site before fully engaging with it. This led to an overwhelming number of support requests for the customer service team. In addition, their unclear brand identity made it difficult to connect with their target audience through marketing efforts.

Recognizing these challenges, I saw an opportunity to redesign their website and clarify their brand messaging.

By simplifying the onboarding process and creating a more defined brand identity, I could improve the user experience, reduce the volume of support inquiries, and make their marketing efforts more effective. This would streamline their operations and help them engage better with their audience.

Internal Process


The final design delivered an AI-powered platform that streamlined talent searches, organized production data, saved time, reduced frustration, and improved the selection-to-email process by 57%.

Centralized Dashboard

For Extra360, I designed a centralized dashboard that provided quick, easy access to the tools they relied on daily. My focus was on simplifying their workflow by bringing all essential functions into one place while also making it effortless to visualize overall company performance.

This dashboard would empower the team to access key insights at a glance, track progress, and stay organized—all within a streamlined, intuitive interface that enhanced productivity and kept them focused on their goals.

AI Integration

One of the main things Extra360’s stakeholders wanted was an AI-powered tool that could search their talent database for really specific requests-like “someone who looks like they could be a cop from the 70s.” I pictured this as a chat-based interface, where users could simply type in their detailed requests and get results that matched right away.

Over time, this conversational AI would get even smarter, learning from past requests to deliver spot-on results faster, making the talent search process smoother and more intuitive.

Production Dashboard

To make managing productions smoother and more intuitive, I designed a main production dashboard tailored to Extra360’s daily needs. This dashboard became the hub for tracking active projects, organizing key contacts, and staying updated on performance metrics—all in one clear, easy-to-navigate space. By centralizing these essential tools, I aimed to give the production team instant access to everything they needed, helping them stay organized, minimize chaos, and focus on delivering high-quality work without the constant back-and-forth.

Inbox

I designed a centralized inbox that became their go-to for everything email-related. They’d been struggling to keep track of who had responded, who still needed follow-ups, and whether critical tasks like production bookings or payments had been handled.

Now, with one main contact email and a unified dashboard, they could see everything in one place—no more scrambling to find old threads or wondering if a bill slipped through the cracks. This setup let them stay on top of filled productions, payment statuses, and ongoing conversations.

Data Analysis

Another feature was a data analysis dashboard for Extra360 that gave them a real-time view of their progress and database growth. It helped the team track key metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions—all from one centralized, easy-to-use tool.

Folder & Tags

Two essential features I designed were the folder and tag systems which made selecting actors and filling productions much easier. The team can tag talent or organize profiles into folders, allowing them to quickly group and filter based on specific needs.

When a folder is sent to productions, they can easily browse through the profiles and find the perfect match. The tags provide further segmentation, ensuring that talent is sorted by very specific criteria, making the process more streamlined, accurate, and efficient.

Website


The final outcome is a user-friendly website that guides users through the onboarding process, with a strong and cohesive brand identity.

Optimized Onboarding

I revamped the onboarding process by guiding users through each step, making it easy to follow along. Through detailed FAQ sections we addressed all the common questions, giving users quick access to the info they needed.

Through three rounds of user testing and listening closely to feedback, we tweaked the content so users could easily find exactly what they were looking for. It was all about making sure everyone could navigate smoothly and easily find the answers to the questions they wanted to ask.

Responsive Website

I designed a mobile-first website, focusing on user feedback and making sure the onboarding process was also easy to follow on mobile.

Cohesive Brand Identity

The branding overhaul was a significant step in defining Extra360's identity within the production and acting community. With a modern brand identity featuring vibrant graphics, we created a distinctive brand that stands out in marketing efforts and leaves a lasting impression.

A comprehensive design system was also developed for web and digital content, ensuring consistent elements such as the logo, typography, colors, and components across all platforms. This approach maintains a cohesive and recognizable brand, enhancing their impact and user experience.
